Answer

Hi, ömer faruk öztürk1

Thank you for your reply!

We know your progress, and I'm glad that your question about ntoskrnl has been solved. If you think the scheme I provided before is helpful to you, you can mark the reply with the scheme as "Yes", which will also mark the reference scheme for other users. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

I will answer your new questions one by one:

1. How to deal with NVIDIA GPU driver?

The problem of ntoskrnl component is solved after the GPU driver is disabled, which shows that NVIDIA driver may have compatibility problems with the system or other hardware, especially the adaptation between Windows 11 and older graphics cards (such as GTX 1650 Ti).

I suggest that you can:

1. Install the old stable driver:

-Visit NVIDIA official website, select your graphics card model and try to install a version before 2023 (for example, 472.12).

2. Use the Studio driver:

-Studio drivers are usually more stable and suitable for long-term use. Select the "Studio Driver" branch in NVIDIA official website.

3. Disable automatic driver update:

-Device Manager → Right-click NVIDIA graphics card → Properties → Drivers → Select "Back Driver" (if available).

2. Is it safe to disable powercfg /h off through CMD?

This is a completely safe operation. As a technical support, we will also provide this instruction when providing solutions for users. It just closes the fast-start CMD operation mode, which is essentially the same as the operation I provided for you, so you can rest assured that this is a safe operation.

3. Does disabling Superfetch and BITS services improve performance?

What are the functions of these two services?

-Superfetch(SysMain): preload common application data into memory to speed up startup.

-BITS: Windows updates and files are transmitted in the background, which does not affect the foreground performance.

Superfetch(SysMain) is related to the first startup speed of an application, but its influence is weak. BITS is related to update. If you don't want to update the system, you can keep it off.

In a word, disabling these two services can improve the speed of your system to a certain extent, but it may not have a great impact on the CPU. You can turn these services off or on, depending on your willingness to use them.

4. Should I use Intel Driver Assistant or official website for driver update?

It is recommended that you install the chipset/motherboard driver (especially the power management and thermal control driver) provided by Monster official website first.

Intel/NVIDIA official drivers can be used for general hardware such as graphics cards and network cards.

5. Causes and Solutions of the Failure of Start-mpwdoscan Execution

This command is used to scan Windows Defender offline virus and needs to be restarted into WinRE environment.

The cause of the error may be related to the damage or insufficient permissions of the system reserved partition or the damage of Windows Defender components.

Repair steps:

1. Run PowerShell as an administrator:

Repair-WindowsImage-Online -RestoreHealth

2. Try Start-MpWDOScan again after restarting.

6. Do you need to update BIOS and chipset drivers regularly?

-About BIOS update:

-suggestion: update only when encountering hardware compatibility problems (such as CPU/ memory instability) or security vulnerabilities.

-risk: incorrect operation may cause the motherboard to become brick, so it is necessary to operate strictly according to the manufacturer's guide.

-About chipset driver updates:

-check the manufacturer's official website every six months and update it to improve stability (such as USB/PCIe performance optimization).

7. Chipset driver choice: Monster official website or Intel official website.

-If the version of Monster official website driver is updated and the label supports your model, the Monster driver will be used first.

-If the version of Intel official website driver is obviously updated (version number is higher), and Monster driver has no special optimization instructions, you can try Intel driver.
