NSIS ERROR

MCAFEE SECURITY AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER WHEN I INSTALLED ANOTHER PROGRAM.  WHEN I TRIED TO UNINSTALL IT, I RECEIVED THE ERROR MESSAGE - NSIS ERROR - TROUBLE LAUNCHING INSTALLER.  I DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS AND WHAT CAN I DO TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM?      THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Hi,

 

Perform the following troubleshooting methods:

Method 1:

 

I would suggest you to run the fixit from the link “Diagnose and fix program installing and uninstalling problems automatically” and then try to uninstall McAfee.

 

Method 2:

 

If that doesn’t work, then I would suggest you to use McAfee removal tool to uninstall it.

 

Refer to the link “How to uninstall or reinstall supported McAfee products using the Consumer Products Removal tool (MCPR)” to know how to use McAfee removal tool.
