I have the same problem.
Dell Ryzen - after Windows 11, version 24H2 successfully installed then I have no networking at all.
Ethernet status - not operational
WIFI status - not operational Disconnected.
I tried setting up a USB WIFI - it installed but does not find my network.
I initially had a message that the WIFI had been disconnected and the device should be connected again.
The best clue I have is that the System Firmware failed to update
----------------
System Firmware 01.22.00
Firmware vendor Dell Inc.
Firmware version 11500
Update status
Firmware is pending update on next system reboot
Pending Firmware version 11600
Firmware failed to update during last attempt
Last attempt date 28/02/2025
Last Attempt Status 0xC0210000
-------------------------
Device Manager
System Firmware 01.22.00
Device status The device cannot start (Code 10)
This volume is locked by Bitlocker Drive Encryption.
-------------------------
I have had this problem since the 22 Feb 25 and have rebooted multiple times including removing the battery and holding down the power button to discharge the flea power. (Yes I opened the case).
Please advise
What this firmware actually does.
Where to enter the bitlocker key to release the firmware,
and method of updating the firmware without the network.
Thanks in advance
Rob.

i didn’t really get what you were saying but i think i have a clue are you talking about updating my motherboard?
Because i think that might be the problem since the wifi adapter completely died

Mines fixed.
Yes. The firmware is supplied by DEL and so is most likely in the motherboard.
I rolled back to 23H2 and it did the firmware up date.
My firmware is now version 11600.
It seems the firmware involved is part of the mother board specific software that provides the connection between Windows and the hardware. The Windows update that was forced on 22 Feb 25 attempted to update it and failed.
Firmware updates are especially vulnerable to power offs - make sure your computer is plugged in before doing an update.
Microsoft makes it hard to roll back 10 days after an update so if you have not rolled back yet you will probably have to do a little searching on the net to find out how to do it.
Hope this helps
Rob
