No USB2 support with SiS 7001 pci-to-usb open host controller on Windows XP 32 Bit

Do I need to put in a USB 2.0 card?  I do not have any idea why my 1.1 USB is not upgrading to 2.0. I have looked for the appropriate area to add drivers but no where to be found any thoughts? I have SP1 loaded but at a loss.

The SiS 7001 chipset does not support USB 2.0. Therefore, all USB devices you try to connect to the built in ports will only run at USB 1.1 speeds.

You will need to buy a USB 2.0 expansion card. It is not possible to upgrade a USB controller simply by updating drivers.
