No option to upgrade to Windows 11 22H2?

I have a brand new PC built just a few months ago, on which I am running Windows 11 Pro 21H2. Windows Update does not give me any option to update to Windows 11 22H2. There's doesn't seem to be any reason why this should be so. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Hi, I'm Douglas. Welcome to the community. I'm happy to help you today

Visit the Microsoft Update catalog where all versions are available for download, glue the KB number in the text field near the upper right corner and click Search.

https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com
test a KB in the link below:

Windows 11, version 22H2 update history (microsoft.com)

Click the Download button for the relevant option in your case.

Now, right -click the link that appears here and select Save Link as in the context menu.

After downloading the file, twice click on it to start the setting and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.

Once this is done, restart the computer and now you will have the version of Windows 11 installed

I hope this information helps you, post the results again. We are available

Regards,
Douglas R.

I think Douglas's post has some problems like the link and the info here being a bit odd. Needs a bunch more edits there :)

22h2 could take months to get. They don't necessarily spell out reasons for blockage.

You can try to manually update anytime at your own risk by using the upgrade assistant tool or even grabbing the iso, mounting it, then running setup. Etc. https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11

A few days ago, the update to 22H2 finally became available. I believe the issue was KB5017389, relating to Windows Hello logins, and it just took some time after the issue was resolved for the update to become available for my machine.
