No more wifi since last windows update

Since the KB4549951 I have no more wifi on my computer.

I already tried all those, unsuccesfully:
- Uninstall update

- All the problem resolution software inside windows

- Restart the services linked to network

- Updating the drivers (drivers are up to date for sure now)

- Adding a usb wifi adapter, doesn't work either

When I try to have help with the asking for help or send a comment on top right of parameter window, both tell me I'm not connected to internet but yes I'm with an ethernet cable, proof is I'm writing this post asking for help...

I try now to have the last update of Windows but Windows update is now stuck with error 0x80070422...

Any idea on how to fix this?

Hello LucasBonvin,

I'm John an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do all I can to resolve this for you. I understand you're having problems with updates and wifi.

I will recommend is to Perform an In-place upgrade of Windows 10
It will definitely help in resolving update errors. Performing this can repair broken operating system files while preserving your personal files, settings and installed applications. The in-place upgrade will also bring you the latest Windows update.

**Few things to check on the PC

Ensure you are signed in or have administrator rights to do a repair install

Unplug all external peripherals except for the Mouse, Keyboard, and LAN cable before starting

Disable or uninstall any 3rd party Anti-Virus program to prevent it from interfering with the upgrade

Perform an In-place upgrade of Windows 10

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further concerns.

Hello LucasBonvin,

Thank you for updating me that information. I'm Sorry it didn't resolve the issue.
Since all methods fail. Perform a clean install or reinstall of Windows instead.

1. Make sure you backup your files first to an External storage device like USB etc.

2. Please prepare your license key or Link your product key to your Microsoft Account

Hello LucasBonvin

Thank you for that information. If another computer is available, Please try again to create the USB Installation media https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... on another computer. If not please check the links below. Do you have any third party antivirus installed. It might be causing the problem. Please try to disable or uninstall first.

Please try to download the windows 10 ISO file. Make sure its the same Windows version on your computer.

Not seeing this on any of my 5 Windows 10 machines. Make sure you have the latest firmware, chipset drivers, and Wi-Fi drivers installed.
