No American Flag on outlook 365 why?

Greetings. l am glad to assist. As per your description, l understand you requirement.

In Outlook, you can select Home > Get Add-ins  . Search for Emoji, and select Add Emoji add-in.

When compose new message, you can click on Emoji add-in.

In the Emoji add-in, you can either scroll through the list, use the category icons at the top, or type a keyword to search for the emoji you want. 

We can see the flag category and many flags emoji in it.

I do apologize but I was meaning when I am on my computer and I use emojis to add to a platform. I use the windows key along with the : key, the emojis popup and I would like to have the American Flag and the world flags in the categories. Thanks upfront

As per your description, l checked in Outlook desktop app, yes, there is no American flag and the world flags in the category list.

I appreciated your quick response to my question. Yes, I added the emoticon to my outlook mail and that is greatly appreciated. Heck, I could answer some of my emails with an emoji to create some realities...LOL. My quest is to be able to add the world Flags to include the American Flag within my responses to social media's from my 365 outlook app on my laptop. My emails/responses to social media's would look like the following: " Hey, what going on🤔". Using the semicolon & Windows keys which prompt's a pops up. Within that pop up the emojis appears with the full array of emojis except the Flags Themed emojis.

My wish is to have that added to your Format/Platform. Which in turn I would be able to add that on the next Windows update.

I also have this question. It is quite poignant that Microsoft would allow the LGBT flag but leave out all other flags - particularly the USA flag when adding emojis to emails using the Windows + period, or semicolon, keyboard shortcuts.

It is also my wish that the American flag be added!

You will get access to more emojis if you use the Emoji window (included with the operating system). Hold the Windows logo key as you press . (period).

Yes, I know. Except when you search for an AMERICAN FLAG, you won’t find one.

Hm, I can't seem to find any emoji flags either, at the moment. :-(
