No 64bit Samsung Drivers for my MiniDV using IEEE1394 port

I have a minidv Samsung VP-D361. Samsung do not have a 64bit capture driver for this model. My new computer is Windows7 64bit
Is there any universal capture driver or software programme I could use? I am disappointed in Samsung as minidv only 18 months old!

Hi Everyone,

I have finally resolved the problem. One up on you Samhrutha!!!  Install windows live movie maker (free) and importantly change the IEEE1394 Driver to "Legacy"

All works fine! Thanks JMV2009 for the clue for me to research.

Hi Archie,

I don't think samsung indeed ever had firewire drivers. That should be good, because that means that over firewire, it probably just is either a mass storage device or an IIDC camera device. Use microsoft or unibrain drivers, and the microsoft in-box, the microsoft legacy, or the unibrain host driver.
