If you can reply with this then you have some graphics card working.

.

Have you looked in Device Management at Display?

Hi Mehta. I'm Greg, an Independent Advisor.

1) The Display driver is so important here that merely updating it is sometimes not enough. So let's try everything possible to get it working correctly:

First make sure you have updated the Display driver from the PC or Display adapter maker's Support Downloads web page for your exact model number, HP Serial Number or Dell Service Tag - from the sticker on the PC.

If necessary first remove the old driver using DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/ddu-guide-t... (not necessary with Microsoft Basic driver which is a placeholder if nothing else is available) and/or install in Safe Mode with Networking (so you have internet), or Safe Mode, accessed by one of these methods: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-saf...

While there check also for newer chipset, BIOS/UEFI firmware (very important), network, sound, USB3 and other drivers, comparing to the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start Menu.

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/...
or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P...

For Display issues one fix that is working is to Roll back or Uninstall the Driver on the Display Device > Driver tab, restart PC to reinstall driver.

You can also try older drivers in Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick.

Then you will know you've tried everything in addition to Windows Update drivers.

Adjust the screen resolution until it fits and looks best at Settings > System > Display.

Then watch WIndows Updates which may push a new monitor driver based on the display driver you now have installed.

2) See fixes to speed up games FPS in Windows 10:

https://www.thewindowsclub.com/game-stuttering-...
https://www.quora.com/What-computer-parts-incre...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dj9syk_ApcA

3) Check if you have switchable graphics which may need configuring as shown here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-017
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support...

4) If this was caused by a Version Update then for 10 days you can roll it back in Settings>Update & Security>Recovery and then hide it until it matures using the Hide Updates Tool which is explained more here:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Feel free to ask any questions. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

I had tried all the above steps as you mentioned, thanks for the help, but it didn't work for me any ways

3 months ago i had replaced motherboard of my laptop which is done by dell only as that was in warranty, before that i had an hitting issue so while playing games my laptop shuts down itself but after replacement that issue had gone but this thing started happening.

When i open any game in my intel integrated graphics card it runs with 7 to 9 FPS (with leg)

But when i switch it to AMD radeon R5 M430 it gives me black scree while playing any game or any graphic benchmarking app, i can hear the background sound of game running, have asked dell abt that and they said your hardware doesn't have any problem so we cant help you regarding this issue

Where are the results of all of the steps I gave you to try? There were dozens of steps including in the tutorial links, which I needed to know results or I have no idea whether they were completed or not - and anyone who completes that many steps always reports back issues they came across that would give me clues to the underlying problem.

Do you have switchable graphics or not. This is the most important thing to determine because it must be configured correctly which is a very specific procedure I gave you. Why no response?

I gave you multiple steps to increase FPS which you said had slowed way down. Where are the results of those steps so I know what to suggest next?

Have you run Dell hardware diagnostics via pressing F12 key at startup?

You said this started with an "Update" but don't specify whether it's a Version Update or a WIndows Update. If it's a version Update I showed you above how to roll it back. If you waited too long to do this, I can also help you reinstall the last working version.

If it was a Windows Update that caused this, See if you can System Restore to a point before the problem started:
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-system-r...

System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before a problem began. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this started. If System Restore is not enabled on C drive do that now so it's available in the future.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Ok so this is my elaborated answer

1. I did Uninstall AMD drivers through DDU and installed the drivers from dell for my specific laptop in safe mode and then tried playing game result doesn't changed (black screen while i can hear the game sound in background)

2. I have dell support assistant installed so from there i updated all the drivers (chipset, BIOS, Audio, Video etc), Went to intel driver's and updated them, Then went to AMD and updated graphics driver for my configuration.

Nothing happened same result

3. Then i have tried installing different older AMD drivers but each time unfortunately same result

4. I can not roll back to and previous windows update as im facing this issue from last 4 months and as i was working in my laptop i didn't wanted to try something which can turn off my laptop for a while in this pandemic.

5. In past i had tried installing older versions of windows 10 which didn't work for me i remember i was able to play games between july to sept 2020

(I hava a habit of updating windows as and when it pop up)

6. Dell Hardware dignostics test is passed

(ePSA test for dell laptop)

7. Screen resolution is as per recommended by system

8. The links u provided for increasing FPS is of no use to me as i can't even see my game as when i open it it gives me black screen with audio of game playing in background, and decreased FPS is on my secondary integrated GPU of intel HD Graphics 620 when i switch to that graphics

9. Yes i do have a option of switchable graphics in my AMD radeon settings where i can switch graphics for any specific game with 3 options

Power saving

High Performance

based on power source

I tried all the 3 option with power adapter attached to my laptop

Even that didn't work for me

10. In Taks Manager under performance Tab GPU0 which is intel HD is showing some activity

But GPU 1 which is AMD radeon R5 M430 is never shows any activity just temp around 36C dedicated GPU memory 2 GB, shared 3.9GB and GPU memory 5.9 GB

Have you contacted Dell Support for service on the AMD display adapter? It appears to be a hardware problem. Has the AMD adapter worked properly since the motherboard replacement by Dell?

Even if you are out of warranty, Dell will let you extend it in Dell Help & Support app in Start Menu.

If the PC came with Windows 10 then they cannot tell you it cannot run the latest version of WIndows 10. They sold you a Windows 10 PC; it must be able to run the latest version of WIndows 10.

Have you tried installing an earlier version like 2004 which is more stable? There are older version downloads here:
https://tb.rg-adguard.net/public.php
Burn to DVD using WIndows Image Burner or create bootable flash using one of the options here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2376-create...

Then follow the gold standard Clean Install in this link which compiles the best possible Install of Windows which will stay that way as long as you stick with the tools and methods given, has zero reported problems, and is better than any amount of money could buy: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Hi there, thank you for continuing support, i was busy in some stuff so not able to reply here

1. Yes i had contacted dell for support that time i was under warranty support they do all the possible checks and said its not a hardware issue.

2. My laptop came with ubantu OS but from day 1 I had installed windows 10 and it was working really fine

3. That issue came only after the replacement of dell motherboard.

4. I will try installing windows as suggested by you and give you the report after that

Again thank you very much
