Netflix has no sound in Win7 Media Center

I've just got a new computer, and I can not get the sound to work in Windows Media Center when I'm streaming Netflix.  The sound works fine when I stream Netflix through Internet Explorer, and all other media formats have no problem with sound in Media Center, i.e. DVD, Blu-ray, Broadcast TV.

I tried updating the audio card driver, and that didn't help.  I did get the sound to work if I hook the monitor up through the HDMI port, but the sound goes to the monitor and the speakers are quite horrible...and when I hooked the speaker back up to the green 1/8" jack, the sound when away.  So, I tried just hooking up the monitor with a VGA instead so the sound would not be ported through the HDMI output, but that still did not work.  It's got to be something simple.

Like I said, sound works on everything except Netflix in Media Center.  I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
