.Net Native Runtime Package 1.1.23101.0

See an error message in the reliability history (Win 10 Pro, 64-bit) saying:

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80246007: Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.1.23101.0.

I've rebooted several times and also checked manually for this update but it's not being re-offered.  Ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter and no issues reported.

BITS service is running (Automatic-Delayed Start).

Can't find anywhere to download the update for manual installation...

Thanks for the response, but I don't see how that helps me.

The .net update failed on 8-29-15 according to the reliability history. I don't see the .net listed in the Update History as either installed or failed on any date.  Was that .net part of some larger cumulative  Win 10 update?

The only thing listed as failed in the update history is Windows Defender definitions update KB2267602 on 8-23-15, a week earlier than the .net apparently failed, but the WD update is shown as successfully installed the next day in the Update History.

And I just manually checked for updates and it only offered another WD definitions update but nothing else. So I'm still at a loss as to what failed and how to install it manually.

FYI, the Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.1.23101.0 is a Store App. Over the last few days if I check for updates on my SP3 it always finds and claims to have successfully installed this Runtime Package, but it will repeat this loop every time I check.

Same here repeat in loop

Today, thing get worse. When I open Store app, this update pop up again, and it is 0.2 MB, but it stuck and won't download. it make the store app to hang. I have to force quit it from Task Manager

After that, I Restart the store app, if air click Downloads and Updates, the store app hang with swirling hour glass. Again Inhave tonforcevquitvfrom Task Manager since the store app hang

When I restarted the store app, then search for an app, then click on it go go to the app page so Incan install it, the store app just hang with smiling hour glass

have to force quit because the store app hang

Very lousy quality control at Microsoft

Now the store app cannot do anything. Help please, how to fix this.

And more, I try to chat with Microsoft Tech staff to report this problem, I Amy in number 109 in the quest. No way I can wait that long

is there anyway to get attention and fix from Microsoft on this issue?

Sorry you're both having the same problem with the app store after trying to download the Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.1.23101.0 that way. Glad I didn't try to download it that way. And AFAIK, it never got installed on my Win 10 Pro x64 laptop.

One/both of you might want to start a new thread in Microsoft's Win 10 forum that focuses their attention on the app store rather than just on that .Net Runtime Package.

Otherwise, maybe you should uninstall the store app and then reinstall it. But manually set a System Restore point first, just to be safe. Not sure what else to suggest.

Post back here when you find a solution to the app store problem and I'll post if I ever find one for the .Net. So far I don't think its absence has affected anything in Win 10, but you never know with Microsoft...

That's what i'm finding as well. My reliability history is littered with "successfully installed" for the past week and a half.

Same issue here with Windows 10 Pro's Store downloading what appears to be the same "Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package" every time I check for updates manually. It appears to install (complete) fine but I have checked for updates twice within an hour and that update was installed both times. I have seen it installed about six times in the past week. Download size is 0.2 MB.
