Need Android MTP Drivers for Nexus 5X

Hi, I have a Nexus 5X and Windows 10. I'm trying to connect my phone to my PC and open it in Windows Explorer. It doesn't show up in "My PC". It shows on Device Manager as MTP Device and has a yellow "!". I've tried installing a lot of drivers. Nothing works. I also have this question on XDA Developers. I'm attaching screenshots. When I do find Drivers for my phone it won't install (in Device Manager) and says "This device cannot start. code 10." My phone is on and open and I have USB Debugging. So, where do I find the right drivers for my phone? MTP? I've tried Kedacom USB Device (Android ADB Interface and Composite ADB Interface) and Universal Adb Driver, LG United Mobile Driver and Windows Driver Package - Google (Win USB.) So what is the correct Driver for my Nexus 5X? Here are screenshots...

Hi, thanks for your fast reply. I tried your link. "Android Device" doesn't show up in "Select your Target." I tried right-clicking MTP USB Device but it says it found drivers but had problems installing. The "device can't start. (Code 10.") Same as above. What am I doing wrong? How do I get Android Device in "Select your Target?" What "Have Disk" should I use? Standard MTP Device? There's nothing from Google or LG "showing compatible hardware." Just Microsoft and Standard MTP Device. So how do I update my MTP in Device Manager? Are there any drivers?

Hi,

Did you try the first steps where you choose the USB option on the phone, I think the drivers you have installed are already the correct ones.

Also you may wish to try another USB cable incase there is an issue with that.

I'm back. I tried the steps at the top of the link. Swiped down and it was already on "File Transfer." It shows up under "Devices and Printers." Good. Still yellow ! on MTP Device. I tried updating the driver to the phone on "other devices." I selected the Android device and chose an Android driver. It no longer shows the "!". Still no luck with "portable devices. I installed the LG PC Suite and LG Bridge. Still not showing up on Windows Explorer. I get the "device cannot start code 10" when trying to update the MTP device. Fails to update and install the driver. I'm attaching screenshots after updating "other devices." You can see it no longer shows up in Device Manager.

I found a workaround. Instead of moving my Zip from my PC to my phone, I downloaded it on my phone. Then rebooted to TWRP and installed the zip from my Downloads folder. Then I restarted to the system and my App showed up there. I now have my phone rooted with Magisk. That's what I was trying to do in the first place. I would still like to get my phone connecting to my PC. It shows up in Device Manager as OK (no yellow "!") but doesn't show up on Windows Explorer. And it says "MTP device" instead of "Nexus 5X". I'll check back later with more info. Thanks again
