MyRadar app won't launch

The MyRadar app from the Windows store will no longer launch since a Windows update was installed 04/11 2024.

Hi Lars, I am John J.D., a fellow Microsoft user like you.

I understand you're having issues with MyRadar app isn't launching after a recent Windows update. I'm here to help! Have you tried any troubleshooting steps yet, like restarting your computer, resetting the app from Settings or uninstalling and reinstalling the app again from Microsoft Store? Does the issue persists?

The problem persists, and I have taken all those steps you suggest several times already. I also have the same issue with WhatsApp since sometimes in the fall, but WhatsApp I can access via the browser, MyRadar not.

Thank you for letting me know, Lars!

Since the issue is not only with the MyRadar app but also with WhatsApp, it could be related to your network settings or a VPN built into third-party antivirus software. Can you check if you have any third-party antivirus software currently installed and active in the Apps and Features section of the Settings app?

If there's none, please configure your internet connection's IPv4 settings:
> Press Windows + R key to open Run dialog.
> Type this and press Enter: ncpa.cpl
> Right-click on your current Wi-Fi connection and select Properties.
> Double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
> Under "Use the following DNS server automatically," use these values: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
> Click OK to save and restart your PC and connection.

If the issue persists, please run the "wsreset.exe" command:
> Press the Windows + R key to open the Run dialog box.
> Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
> A blank Command Prompt window will open for a few seconds, and then it will close automatically. > The Microsoft Store will open.
> Close the Microsoft Store and restart your computer.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, please reset your network using the steps provided in this link: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/47937-reset...

Let me know how it goes, if issue persists, please let me know as well.

John J.D.
