Are you running the Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC) Build 7100? If yes buy the RTM and install the RTM Version.

Hi,

a) Did you make any changes to your computer recently for this issue to occur?

b) Do you have security program installed on your computer?

You need to Disable automatic restart on system failure on your computer and note the error message you are receiving in the event viewer and you need to post back to us.
In order to do that you need to follow the below steps.

Right click Computer>>properties>>Advanced System Settings>>Advanced Tab>>Startup and Recovery Settings>> Uncheck Automatically restart.

Use the Event Viewer to look for information about the issue.
Here's an article on how to do that:

Thanks and Regards:

"The system was restarted without shutting it down cleanly first. This error can occur if the system stopped responding, blocked or disrupted power unexpectedly."
That's what it says... but the system didn't block first, nor the the power was disrupted...

Just to verify... Can you click the Start button , type winver in the search box, and then press Enter; then grab a screenshot of the dialog that pops up, and upload it somewhere, e.g. SkyDrive?

Hello meligira,

After the upgrade have you updated all of your drivers for the chipset, video card, Network adapter etc?

If you will post the entire event id and all of the details, we can try and determine what is causing the problem that is causing the computer to shutdown.

Thanks,

Marilyn
