My Simple Tech external drive is not seen on windows 10!

Tried all USB ports.

Tried restarting with external drive on.

Likely cause is an outdated driver for one of your hardware components.

Please try below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1 : Run hardware  troubleshooter and check if it helps.

  1. Type Troubleshooting in search box and open it.
  2. Click on Hardware and Sound
  3. Click on Hardware and Devices.
  4. Follow the instruction.

Method 2: Try to update drivers hard disk and chipset and check if it helps.
