My pictures I have burned to a disc will not play on our DVD player.

I have downloaded my pictures from my camera to my computer using Windows Photo Gallery.  I used a Memorex CD-R 52X700MB disc and burned the pictures to it.  The disc will work on my computer but when I put it in the DVD player attached to our TV to view the pictures it gives me this message-Cannot play this disc.  I have made disc in the pass that worked fine but lately I am not having any luck getting them to work.  Can someone please help me?  Thanks, Sheryl

Some free standing DVD Players will recognize JPEG photos on a CD-R.
Apparently...yours does not. Check the manual for your DVD Player and
see if it says it is JPEG compatible.

If you have Windows DVD Maker (Vista Home Premium and Ultimate) your
best bet would be to create a Video DVD.

I don't know what you did in the past that would work on regular DVD player.

As I know it, if you want to burn picture or videos files from computer to dvd dics, and be able to play them in any regular DVD player, you will have to do it with Windows DVD Maker.
