My pc won't escape boot up screen

Hello,

So for the pass day or two I've noticed my boot up time went from it's normal time, 8-15sec, to 2-10min. To resolve this issue I tried trouble shooting and running some virus scanners. When it came time to restart, my PC got stuck? So after a while of waiting for it to fix itself, I did a hard shut down by holding my power button. Ever since, my pc has been unable to reach the login screen. I need serious help. Please. I tried to do a system restore to yesterday, and the restore was "successful". However, it prompted a restart and once again, I'm unable to leave the boot up screen, spinning white circle, for hours.

Please help me, what happened, what do I have to do?

Actually I was able to do a system restore a few hours ago and it was successful, but it prompted me to restart and so I did and it looped me back to the boot screen for SOO LONG! But eventually after a few hours it brought me to the login screen finally. I'm confused because my PC runs insanely normal so I don't know what the issue is. I'm scared to turn my PC off tonight. I got the free version of Bitdefender to run for malware but I genuinely don't know how to make sure my system files are fine. Not just for viruses, but just fine in general.

Sorry I didn't see you asked me a question. No changes were made, I just ran malwarebytes and another one I didn't let finish tbh... In retrospect that probably wasn't smart.

Thank you for your reply. In case the boot-up screen happens again, I suggest that you back up all your important files and then follow the steps below to fix the issue:

1. Sometimes, third-party antivirus, VPNs, or firewall software can cause interference, leading to this issue. Try temporarily uninstalling or disabling them and check again.

2. Try running SFC and DISM to fix system-corrupted files:

On your search bar, type CMD, then right-click on the result and run as administrator.

Copy and paste the commands one at a time below, then press Enter:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

Restart your PC then Test.

Note: This process may take some time and may get stuck at some point, but it will eventually continue. Your patience is requested.

"No component store corruption detected. The operation completed successfully" , it said that on every single one. On the last one it read that it found corrupt files and successfully repaired them! I'm going to restart my PC now... I'll update you soon.

Dude.. You saved me. It restarted and took 8sec to reach the login screen again. THANK YOUUUU!!!!!!! I thought it was gonna take hours, it took seconds! My PC is saved. Thank you thank you thank you!!
