My PC will not accept my log in details

My PC will not accept my log in details. I have reset the password, but my PC will not recognise it. I can log into my account with my phone.

Hello, I'm Estrella, an Independent Advisor, and I'm here to assist you. I understand that this situation has been challenging for you. I'll do my best to help.

Since you have already reset your password and can log in to the same account on your phone, it is possible that the account is not synced to your computer or that corrupted system files are causing the issue. Please make sure your computer is connected to the internet to allow it to sync. If the issue persists, try again later.

If nothing works, from the sign-in screen, press and hold the Shift button, then click the power icon on your monitor and select Restart while still holding Shift.
This will take you to the recovery menu.

From the 'Choose an option' screen, select "Troubleshoot."
Go to "Advanced options," then select "Startup Settings" and click "Restart."
After your computer restarts, select option 5 from the list or press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking. Please inform me if this is successful.

If the issue persists go back to the 'Choose an option' screen and, try the options below:

Click troubleshoot > Advanced > Startup Repair: Check if the system can repair itself.

Click Troubleshoot, then System Restore.
Select a restore point from before the issue occurred.
Let the process finish and check.

Click Troubleshoot > Reset This PC (Keep My Files).

As long as you follow the correct procedure, you should be able to access the recovery menu, which will then provide options to fix this issue. If the issue persists, I’m afraid a clean install of Windows may be necessary.

Yeah, I am facing the same situation but I restarted my PC several times and it worked. I did not know it is the correct solution but worked for me.
