my pc does not recognise my nvidia gpu

I have a nvidia rtx 3080 and I recently opened up a game and it told me to update my graphics driver.

It took me to an Intel website in which I downloaded the drivers.

Now my game is running on 4 fps (it was 120 the day before) and I can't redownload any nvidia drivers because my PC cannot recognise my GPU.

I also can't access my nvidia control panel for the same reason.

If you had Nvidia graphics why did you then use Intel????

Win11 by default only installs critical security updates, unless you made the mistake of selecting “Get latest updates” which includes drivers.

See your laptop/PC makers support to update both bios and ALL drivers.

There should be a shortcut to that makers update utility on your system.

Then set Bios to defaults & Pwr to balanced. At the end of the day shutdown, do not leave in sleep.

Do NOT update from any other source inc Device Manager

You only need to set the Advanced options for notify & Time

Hi, my name is Jan and I am happy to help you today. I am sorry that you are experiencing this problem. This can be related to graphics driver problems. Here are some things you can try.

1. Power reset your computer.
Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn off
If it is a laptop with a removable battery, remove the battery for 30 seconds
then unplug your power adapter for 30 seconds
Then power on your computer

2. Download the drivers directly from the graphics card manufacturer's website. Do not use any third-party driver downloader software.

Select the Custom and Clean Installation option.
Then restart the computer.

3. Clean both integrated Intel and Nvidia drivers drivers using DDU.
Display Driver Uninstaller
https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-...

Run the application from Safe mode.
https://support.microsoft.com//windows/windows-...

Select Clean and restart
Once the drivers are uninstall
Install the latest Graphics Card driver
Try the older driver version if the newest driver is crashing.

4. Install the latest chipset drivers and check for the latest BIOS updates.
Download the drivers directly from the motherboard support website.
