My pc crashes whenever I play a game.

My PC crashes whenever I have played a game, I have done everything I know to fix this, I have reinstalled my display drivers, used different versions of those drivers, updated bios, and reinstalled my games. I checked the dumpfiles with BlueScreenView and every time it crashes it shows that its being caused by dxgkrnl.sys, ntoskrnl.sys, and nvlddmkm.sys. I would add a screenshot but I do not know how. Please reply quickly and let me know how to fix this issue its been happening for a while now.

Hi, I'm Thileep K, and I'm happy to assist you!

Could you check if your computer is generating any minidump files?

1. Open File Explorer and navigate to:

C:\Windows\Minidump

2. If you find any .dmp files, please zip them.

3. Upload the zipped file to Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or any file-sharing site.

4. Share the link here so I can analyze the files.

Once I have the minidumps, I'll review them to identify what might be causing the crashes.

For more details on sharing crash dumps, you can refer to this thread:

Thileep K

The analysis indicates that the crash is related to nvlddmkm.sys, which is associated with the NVIDIA Graphics drivers. I recommend using a DDU tool to completely reinstall your NVIDIA Graphics drivers and see if that helps.

You can use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), which is available here:

I’ve already reinstalled NVIDIA drivers multiple times with ddu. And it hasn’t been able to fix my problem even with older version of drivers

I can understand your concern and appreciating your effort, could you check the System logs on the PC so I can further investigate the root cause of the issue?

You can follow the steps in the link below to share the logs

The system log indicates that Kernel Power 41 is typically related to a hardware issue with power supply. Could you share your computer's make and model?

Would you be able to test with a different power supply unit?

You can share a screenshot of your system information by following these steps

a). Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
b). Take a screenshot of the System Information window and share it here.

The system log indicates Kernel Power 41, which could be related to a PSU issue. It is better to replace with new one. Have you noticed any signs of overheating before the crashes? Overheating can sometimes cause unexpected shutdowns.

If overheating is suspected, reapplying thermal paste to the CPU may help improve cooling.
