My new laptop keeps freezing, crashing, and the screen keeps turning black, as well as a ton of other issues.

I recently purchased a new laptop with good specs and a high resolution screen (2-4 months ago). I have rarely used it as I have been on break (I'm a university student, and have been on break for about 3 months). When I do use it however, there is never a time where I don't come across a single issue when I am using it. Often the issues happen when I first start my laptop up, and these issues can range from blank screens to excessive bootup time (10 minutes for a new, rarely used computer??), overheating and apps like Microsoft edge crashing with just a few tabs open. My laptop will overheat while using Microsoft edge, word document, etc. And my laptop cannot run both apps at once without extreme lagging, which I find surprising as my laptop has 16GB of ram, and an Intel evo i7 core. When I try to update my laptop, It takes a minimum of 15 minutes, which doesn't sound like much, but for an update that is estimated to take 3 minutes, it's 5x slower. At first I thought this was due to the free trial antivirus already installed on the computer, so I deleted it, as according to other sources and people, It would get rid of these issues. It worked for a few days, but now I find the issues have come back, and nothing has improved. I constantly check task manager when my laptop overheats/lags, and the only application that SOMETIMES uses 20% CPU is 'antimalware service executable'. I will attach a screenshot of this here. I did think that this was the issue and tried to end the task, but that caused my entire laptop to crash and I had to restart it. I found another solution to try, but it requires me to open and modify the physical components of my laptop, which I do not want to do. I still have 2 years warranty. What can I do to resolve this issue?
