  • Have you tried with a different mouse? What is the status?

Method 1: Hardware Troubleshooter

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Printer. Refer these steps:

  1. 1.    Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
    2.    Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
    3.    Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
    4.    Run the Hardware and devices.

Check if it helps.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to download and install the latest mouse drivers from your computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

I hope the issue will be resolved. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us again. We will be happy to assist you accordingly.

Thank you.

This did not work.

I just fired up a new gaming build with Windows 10 two days ago. Intel i7 with 16GB RAM and a GeForce 970 Graphics Card with 4GB RAM. This thing should NOT be mouse-lagging, but it is lagging HORRIBLY! Your fix didn't work. Anyone else have ideas? I disabled Cortona. Using a Logitech Wireless M510 mouse.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I suggest you to install the latest Mouse drivers from the manufacturer web site and check if it helps.

If the persist install the drivers in compatibility mode and check.

Compatibility mode

I would suggest you to install the latest available drivers on manufacturer's website in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps below on how to install driver in compatibility mode:
1. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.
2. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.
4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.
5. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Hope this helps in resolving the issue. If the issue persists, do get back to us. We will be happy to assist you

I don't think this mouse or keyboard are compatible with Windows 10 - I have the same issue. Works fine in Windows 7. Very jumpy in Windows 10. Wired Logitech mouse is smooth. Seems like the driver in windows 10 is affected by CPU load whereas the one in Windows 7 appears much closer to the hardware layer?

Hello

I had recently had did issue. I came to the conclusion that the manufacturers driver did not support windows 10. In my case, I was using Logitech K330 Keyboard and M510 Mouse. After installing the Logitech SetPoint software that also came with their driver, the mouse or keyboard would just lag when any application running is CPU intensive. Uninstalling it helped me get back to normal.

Hi

Yes I have the same problem, mouse lag with Windows 10.

I have run the troubleshooter as suggested by the Microsoft guy, no fix.

He also states that install a new driver in compatibility mode, there is no driver for my HP Bluetooth mouse it uses the standard Bluetooth ones provided my windows.

So still no FIX, please could you suggest the next course of action?

Kind Regards

William
