    Hello Fw Chris,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for your feedback. From your description, it seems that you are stuck at the computer logo screen and cannot enter the system. This is usually due to a system self-test failure, which involves the hard drive, memory, and motherboard settings. Could you please let us know how this problem occurred? Did you update the system, install hardware, or modify the BIOS settings before this issue appeared?

You can check if the hard drive and memory are connected stably. Try reinserting the memory sticks and hard drive, and use an eraser to clean the gold fingers of the memory sticks. You can also reset your BIOS according to the instructions on the Lenovo official website. If you are familiar with this operation, you can try removing and reinserting the BIOS battery. This operation carries some risk, so if you are unsure, you might want to avoid this method or seek help from someone more experienced.

This issue could also be due to a problem with initializing peripheral drivers, preventing the self-test from proceeding. You can try disconnecting all peripherals except the monitor and then start the computer. Alternatively, you can try entering Safe Mode.

Here are the specific steps to enter Safe Mode:

I hope the above information helps you. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reply. I am happy to continue helping you.

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Community. I wish you good health and a happy life!

    Best wishes,
