I would suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps
Step 1:
Try to run SFC scan from the below link:

Step 2:
Also I would suggest you to update McAfee antivirus software from the below link:
http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security-updates/security-updates.aspx
You may also run the performance troubleshooter from the following link:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Performance-troubleshooter
