my external ssd won't connect in explorer

Hello Everone,

I need your help guys!

Since I downloaded photos from my iPhone that were in HEIC format, I sent them to my external SSD, and quickly my external SSD stopped working.

My external ssd (E:) won't connect in explorer, and is looking like this:

When I plug it in, the WIN system also loses abilities, meaning that some functions do not work well, such as if I want to open properties in explorer, it does not work., it's just an example...

I have tried several data recovery tools, most of them do not even recognize the SSD, like:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKsujisOc7Y

Something tells me that the IOS data is not compatible with the WIN system and that is why sharing the same SSD has created this conflict.

Anyone can help me and recover my SSD. Does anyone have experience with these types of SSD conflicts and errors?

Thanks in advance.

Open Disk Manager, does that show the external?

That ssd maker will have a free disk checking tool

If its failed unless you send it to a recovery specialst all is lost

PS you can open that file on win system

Hi Daniel,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Kindly right-click on the External SSD > Properties > Take a screenshot and post it back.

Right-click on Start > Disk Management > Take a screenshot and post it back.

Do you have any data inside your external SSD that you do not want to be lost? Or, you do not mind if you format it?
Sincerely,
