my email wont update current emails

3. Which e-mail client ( e.g Outlook, Hotmail etc) are you using?

Check if the date, time and time zone is set according to your time and time zone.

I have Windows 10. I just got the PC in Dec. I had no problem with any of my email account until Jan.3, 2016. That is the last date that my mail will show.
I have not been able to find ANY solution to fix this.
When I go the the start menu and click on the tile for mail my machine just spins.
When I click on the task bar mail shortcut, I see the mail from Jan 3.
After an hour of letting the machine spin, i now get the message on my Outlook that it is not synced.
Can someone help?

Edit: I actually just turned on my Samsung Tablet and some new email were there on the home page. I started to scroll and they disappeared. This is very strange.

January 8th is the last date for any email in my outlook account, available for viewing on my hp laptop. I am able to view, send and respond to emails on Android and iOS devices.
The PROBLEM appears to be Microsoft Windows 10 related.
NOT date and time settings.
NOT a user error!
MS Windows 10 error!!!

I have Windows 8 and yesterday my emails just stopped updating and a blue circle of dots spins. I've called for support and been disconnected 3x!!! Help!! None of these fixes have helped me.

We suggest that you create a new and separate thread regarding your concern to avoid confusion. This thread is old and was previously resolved. There has been a lot of changes over the past years and the solutions shared here might have worked for others, but may not work for you.
