My desktop icons and layout changed, how to restore to default????"?

recently, my desktop layout suddenly changed.

I've tried to change things in the registry editor, but it only thing worst.

I've also looked on tutorials and articles about how to restore my desktop settings to the default.

All of them were outdated because of windows migration from control panel to settings, and changing of the settings available in the settings app.

How can I changed the desktop icons size and layout to how to was when I got my computer??

Windows(10) version: 1909

OS Build: 18363.959

Thanks,

Ofer

3. In the setting "Change the size of text, apps and other items", change it to 100% if is not.

You're response is highly appreciated. Please let me know if the issue is fixed, if not, we will find another way.

Hey,

Thanks for your response.

For your questions:

1. The problem started yesterday (17/07/2020).

2. Up to this point I haven't experienced any problems with that.

3. I did install software recently, but I didn't see any change when I first opened or closed the software I installed (I personally don't think It made the change).

Unfortunately, the solution you gave didn't work.

Hope the answers I gave you will help you to understand the problem and give me a solution.

Sincerely,

Ofer

Hey,

I've tried your solution, and it partly solved my problem.

My problem at the begging was that suddenly, things have changed, and by that I mean that the spacing between the items have changed significantly, so that they were very specious. So I changed the spacing in the registry editor, but now there too dense (as you can see in the picture, from my original question).

Can you tell me how to change the settings back to default, at least the settings in registry editor?? if you can also tell me what is regular item size, that comes with OS, that will be blessed.

The settings I've changed in the registry editor are: IconVerticalSpacing and IconSpacing. (Their location in the registry editor is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics)

Thanks for the help and kind regards,

Ofer.
