Any chance your keyboad input language is set to French Canadian?
If so, you would need to switch it to Eng (US). If you don't have Eng (US) to switch to, go to Settings > Time & Language > Language & Region.
Under preferred languages, see if you have English (US) installed. If so, click on the three dots to go to "language options".
On the next page, scroll down to the bottom to make sure US keyboard layout is installed.

Thank you, that fixed my problem with the question mark and slash but now my computer is correcting my spelling to American English but I need it to be Canadian English. How can I permanently stop the "e accent" from coming back while also keeping Canadian spellcheck?
