Question

Q: Multiple BsOD errors. Win 7 x64 pro

I have been having Win shut down. I stopped the reboot so I could catch the BSOD error and hex codes.

With there being multiple I can't get to the bottom of it. I suspect there is an issue with the Video drivers

from AMD/ATI as I cannot get them to install. But, even with the computer using generic drivers, it still

crashes. It even crashes in SAFE mode. Below are the errors.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

0x0000000A

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

0x0000003B

on startup - no error title, just hex

0x0000001E

BAD_POOL_HEADER

0x00000019

SAFE MODE)

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

0x0000003B

(no error message just hex)

0x00000024

A:

For those interested the solution to my issue was in a little program that boots from a usb called memtest86. This showed one of my memory sticks was bad, and Mushkin replaced them both. Going on several months now error free (for the msot part, not THAT error).

The win memtest did not prove sufficient in this case.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
