Movie won't play in Movies and TV app

I bought a movie from the Microsoft Store. I played it twice and it worked fine, but yesterday when I played the movie an error message came up. Below is the message that popped up. I find it strange since I bought the movie on 3/1/21. This has never happened to me before. Does anyone know what to do so I can play my movie?

Good day DDiane10! I am Independent Advisor Paul R. and also a Microsoft/Windows user like you and I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. My apologies and I understand that you are unable to play the movie that you have bought from the MS Store in Movies & TV app. Kindly check and try the steps below and see how it goes.

- If you are Signed-in to Movie & TV app, Sign-out first by clicking on your profile
- Click on Start
- Click on Settings
- Click on Apps
- On Apps & feature, look for Movies & TV and click on it and click on Advance options
- Look for Reset and click on it and go through the reset process
- Press Windows key + R and this will open up the run box
- Type in there wsreset.exe and press Enter or hit OK and wait for the process to be completed
- Launch Movies & TV app and Sign-in and check if you will be able to play the movie again

You can also check out the link below for reference with regards to the error that you are getting and you can also try solutions 2, 3 and 4 that is indicated in there as well.

If you will continue to experience the issue after doing the above, I would also suggest to cross check this with Microsoft Store Sales and Customer Support (via phone or via chat) for them to verify on their end on what happened on the movie that you have bought and again my apologies on this matter.

Via chat: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus
- Go to the link above
- Type in billing
- Select None of the above/No for every auto response until you reach the Talk to a person option and click on it
- Select Windows and Billing from the drop down menu and then sign in when prompted
- Sign in/Log in when prompted
- You can select the chat and a new window will pop-up and you will need to wait for a live chat agent to assist you. You can also select the option call me back as another preference for communication and someone from the team should call you back if that option has been selected

Method 2:
Via phone: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/28808/...
- Head over to the link above and locate the number of Microsoft Store Sales and Customer Support for your country

Regards,
Paul R.
