I had an external hard drive set up on my router and it was working perfectly. It was connected from the router and I could see it in File Explorer. I mistakenly disconnected it and cannot "Map Network Drive" because it is not showing in the box under Folder. When I try to type in my router's IP address, the box won't accept it. It says that it is attempting to connect and then I get the error message "Windows Cannot Access". I know that the IP address is correct....I have typed it in with the forward slashes that are required. ( \\1**.***.1.1\)
The drive used to show and if it was disconnected, it would have a red X thru it. I do not see it at all now. I'm not quite sure how to fix what I've done...I did use Disconnect Network Drive. It is still showing on my router software as available.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
