Missing Wifi Icon and options. Network Adpater Drivers are not working. Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz Error with this driver.

Hello, I have a problem with my HP Elitebook 840 G9. My network adapter driver isn’t working at all. Wifi icon is not visible on my laptop. Wifi options and bluetooth connection is not available. I tried to install laters driver but that hasn’t worked. The error occurred with the following driver “ Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz “. I tried a lot of things from updating drivers to installing all updates. Nothing is working please help.

I understand that you have an issue with your Wi-Fi. The icons and options are missing. Several possibilities can cause this.

Please do the following steps and if the steps do not help, proceed to the next one.

*Please go to the link below and follow the solution provided.

*Run an anti-virus and see if there is Malware on your device

*Enable WWAN and WLAN services.

Press Win key + R > type in services.msc > click OK > Look for WLAN Autoconfig and WWAN Autoconfig > Right-Click Properties and set it to automatic (If it's already set to automatic, right-click then click stop then start it again) > Restart PC and check.

*If the issue persists, run the following command in Command Prompt (Admin). Follow the steps below to do so.

Press Windows Key + X.
Click on Command prompt (Admin).

Type the following commands, and hit Enter after each command:

netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
netsh int tcp set global rss=enabled
netsh winsock reset and press Enter
netsh int ip reset and press Enter
ipconfig /release and press Enter
ipconfig /renew and press Enter
ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter

After all has been processed, Restart your device

Hello,

My problem was solved temporarily, for a day or two. Now wireless module is not available on my laptop, System testing shows no wireless module is installed. I don’t know what to do
