Missing or corrupted dll file

Hi there.

I have a laptop with Windows 10 installed. Whenever I try to run any application on my system it displays me an error "C:\Windows\SYSTEM 32\DCIMAN32.full is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." Please help me out on this matter.

Hi Saaransh,

Click your Star Button, type cmd then right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run this command and hit Enter:

sfc /scannow

When that completes, run this command and hit Enter:

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

That command will take time to complete, when it does, close Command Prompt and restart your PC

Try these first to see if they work:

Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Also run the System File Checker utility:
Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system
