Minecraft windows 10 beta. Installed but clicking open does nothing. Does work on same computer but with different account.

Ok I'm having a strange problem. 

I installed minecraft 10 beta from the windows store after redeeming it from the minecraft website. It installed and worked fine. 

I also installed it on my laptop which also worked fine.

My kids love to play multiplayer so i logged one of the pc's in using my Daughters account and opened minecraft using that account and gamertag and again it ran fine and allowed me to let the kids play in lan multiplayer with each other. 

I later tried to return to my account and load minecraft and this is where things got odd. Clicking on the icon, does nothing, the store says its installed but cliking open does nothing. Uninstall applications doesn't show minecraft as being installed. Logging back on as my daughter allows me to run it fine and uninstall it. Re installing as me seems to go fine but it still won't run or show as being installed, but logging back on as my daughter allows it to be played and uninstalled. 

I have tried reseting the app store as me,  and have removed the app as me using powershell but this hasn't fixed the problem. 

Has anyone seen anything like this before.

As the name says beta, it might have bugs in it.

I fully understand what beta means but this feels more of a problem of how apps install and load from the windows tiles. The store says the app is installed but in add/remove programs the game isn't visible at all. I can force it to uninstall using powershell but reinstalling gives the same problem, clicking the tile to launch the game does nothing (not launch and crash) and there are no error codes in the event viewer. 

I can install and play the game on my other machines and it works in other user profiles on the same machine but just doesn't work on my profile anymore.

Did you ever figure this out?? I have exactly the same problem and now my kids fight over it because only one of them can play the game. If you have a url for wherever the solution was posted, please share!
