I have been playing the online Microsoft Solitaire Collection for years, it is my favorite. For the past week it has not been working. The screen is is half there and when I click the play now button it just times and never loads. Please fix it. I have not made any recent changes to my settings or installed or uninstalled anything. Please help.

Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.
Since you mentioned that you've been playing this game online, I was wondering if it's possible to access this site properly using the Edge browser (different browsers sometimes view it differently)? Is it possible that a different network would be different? If none of these actions work, then the game itself would be more likely to be the problem. I'm not sure if you've done any testing, so I'm looking forward to your response to my thoughts.
If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Thank you for your response. I tried the Edge browser and it worked. Unfortunately, I don't like it and have used Firefox for years. As for a different network, I'm not sure I understand. I have Spectrum as my internet provider and have used it for years. I admit I'm a novice but, I don't understand how something can change like this overnight. One day it was working and the next day it wasn't. As I mentioned in my original request I have not made any updates, upgrades, installed or uninstalled anything. I play these games everyday and for this to happen over night just blows my mind. Thank you for your time.

Thank you very much for your reply, we do understand how you feel when faced with the fact that the game is suddenly unplayable.
When I mentioned trying to change the network, I meant to say try connecting to a cellular hotspot and see. However, since you said that Edge works, it's basically unlikely that it's the website or the network, and naturally there's no need to try changing the network.
You are used to using Firefox instead of Edge, but Firefox is not developed by Microsoft, if you want to continue to experience the game on Firefox, we would first recommend you to backup your important browser data such as favorites, account passwords, etc. (it would be much easier if you logged in to your Mozilla account and synchronized it), then clear your browser cache to see if the game can be played normally.
If clearing the cache doesn't help, please send feedback via the Firefox 'Help' interface, and the development team may be able to provide compatibility optimizations or a better solution.

Thank you again for your time and your suggestions. I have cleared the cache and I have done a refresh of the Firefox browser but nothing worked. So, I will contact their help desk and see if they can figure it out. I also installed the DuckDuckGo browser and the games worked in that browser so I am sure it is an issue with Firefox. In the meantime, I'll play the games on a different browser. Thank you again for your time. You have been most helpful. Enjoy your day.

On a perhaps related note I have noticed that there has been an update to both the Windows and mobile versions of Microsoft Solitaire. I suspect that it is this update that is causing your problems with Firefox.
I am having trouble with the android version as of 8 Nov where the cards are a bit smaller than they were. The shadow outline and the outline for a target card are still the old size. This change in size makes it hard for me to see the cards. Is there a way to reverse this change?
