Microsoft Robot Verification Puzzle Throws an Unhandled Exception in Chrome

tldr; if you are having an issue with the puzzle try creating your account using the Edge browser.

After trying to create an outlook.com email address for about 30 minutes. I realized I wasn't making a mistake or going to slow. After completing the puzzle the entire puzzle resets to this modal...

After just completing the puzzle this Uncaught exception is encountered and the puzzle starts over.

I've verified the behavior on both the mouse cheese maze challenge and audio id the animal challenge.

I then successfully created the account using the Edge browser.

I was running this version of Chrome...

You got an error when you were creating an Outlook.com email using Google Chrome, but you can create it successfully with Edge browser. Do I understand it right?

Please use a third-party browser, if the third-party browser can also be successfully created, it is the problem of Google Chrome itself, I suggest reset browser cache and cookies.

Open Google Chrome > Select “Settings” > Reset and clean up > Restore settings to their original defaults  > Reset Settings

And, see if you can solve Captcha https://outlook.live.com/owa/0/owahipcontrol.aspx

If the error still remains, update your account's security information at https://account.microsoft.com/security
