MICROSOFT LifeCam VX-3000 Drivers for WINDOWS 10

I have U)PDATED this LifeCam VX-3000 back in September and was working well, till I updated my office PC too WINDOWS 10.  Could you help me please update this WEBCAM please, Henry Flores Thank you!

Hello, I'm Didi, an independent advisor.

First download this driver : http://download.microsoft.com/download/C/B/8/CB...

It should extract files : choose where to extract them and in the folder launch setup.exe (not the other .exe file). Make sure your webcam is unplugged when you start the installation.

At a certain point the installation wizard will ask you to plug in your webcam : try all your usb ports until you hear the famous sound when you plug in a device into your computer. Once you have heard the sound you can click on "Next" and finish the installation process.

Tried that process and run setup.exe and/or setupstb.exe, but Windows 10 continues to prevent me from installing it. I get the following message:

Also tried to run it under compatibility mode to previous versions of Windows and got the exactly the same error.

Any thoughts / further help available?

I'm having the same problem, where I get a message that the driver can't run on my pc. I don't want to have to spend money and buy a new camera. Please find the solution to this problem that everyone keeps having. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem .. can't make the 'fix' with my microsoft LifeCamVX-3000 work .. when I try I get the same message others have noted ..

I could have it fixed today for a LifeCam VX-3000 today 10 May 2020 while my PC is running the latest version of Windows 10 !!!

Steps to fix Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Webcam Not Working on Windows 10 are similar to the Steps to fix Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000 or VX-1000 Webcam Not Working on Windows 10.

 

First download the folders you need via

VX-1000 download link : https://www.filedropper.com/vx1000

VX-3000 download link: https://www.filedropper.com/vx3000

VX-6000 download link : https://www.filedropper.com/vx6000

 

Alternatively you can also get it from

Explanations to have the driver recognized and activated are combining the following 2 video explanations:

Connect you webcam to have it recognized and added as peripheral. Then it is very important to right-click on the Windows menu icon at bottom left of the screen to reach the peripherals, instead of using the usual Parameters menu doing a left-click on it! Doing so you can indeed select the search for the driver in a local PC folder.

Buenas Noches,  pude instalarla la camara vx 3000, siguiendo el instructivo que esta en este link :

, el unico inconveniente es que Windows 10 no reconoce la camara, dado que no instala la aplicacion como si sucede con el Windows 7, pero lo importante es que si reconoce aplicaciones como Zoom o Skipe, siendo que cuando se activan estas aplicaciones inmediatamente de enciende la camara,  espero les sirva. Saludos

thank you ESTUDIO JURIDICOMASTRONARDI, but I could already have the driver being properly recognized in the meantime, see my own explanation (in fact the same to yours), so it's all fixed. Thanks anyway !
