Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 747 throttle not working

Hi,

I have a problem that I only have on the throttle Boeing 747. After I apply full throttle at takeoff I can not seem to change it anymore.
It keeps getting stuck at the same %. When I try to do it with the mouse same thing, the stick is not movable, all the other buttons and stuff all works. When I turn on autopilot it changes the throttle, when I turn it off, it is stuck on that %. The A320 works fine, it is only the 747. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

The last time I coped with this problem by switching off automatic throttle control by autopilot. I don't remember exact name of the switch, but it is on the upper rim of main panel over the EICAS, where all autopilot controls are situated. I have never switched it on, so perhaps it was switched on from the start. I don't think that it is normal behavior. And I found other glitches while toying with autopilot controls. So I think that all this is the result of short terms and very fast programming :), and it should be cleaned up in forthcoming updates. I am sure that it will be sooner or later.

Hi,

I have the same problem. But I found that pressing the switch "Disconnect autothrottle" located on the left or right side of the throttle levers in the cabin brings the throttle to work manually well again.

For Boeing, this autothrottle should be engaged automatically before the takeoff to control throttle automatically during different flight phases. And it is possible that the automatic startup procedures in FS did turn it on.

JanKena is right. You need to disconnect the autothrottle, which will automatically engage on a 747 after a short time and lock the current throttle level.
