Microsoft Edge - Search Engine is not changing - Windows 11

Hello,

After the latest update of windows 11, it seems that Microsoft Edge changed automatically the search engine in my case from (Google) to (Bing).

Additionally , the issue here is that I cannot change the search engine from Bing to Google or yahoo I tried manually to add them on -> Privacy, search and services -> Address bar and search -> Manage search engines. Nevertheless, when I went back to search engine used in the address bar only bing was available nothing else no matter how many I would add.

Moreover, ironically when I search YouTube, it was one of the option bu when I did that with Google or yahoo that was not the case once again. This is really frustrating. If someone could help me I would really appreciate that.

Please try the following methods below.

1. Open Edge then copy and paste this to the address bar

edge://settings/search

Press Enter
Search engine used in the address bar = select Google (Recommended)
Click manage search engines
Find Bing in the list then click the 3 dots next to it
Click Remove

2. Disable or Uninstall Edge extensions
Open Edge > Click 3 dots > Extensions
Please check if one of your Extensions is forcing your search to use Bing.

If this doesn't work, you may need to consider performing a Reset of Edge Chromium.

Open Edge then click 3 dots > Settings
Select Reset Settings > Restore settings to their default values
Click Reset
Restart your computer
