Microsoft Developer account sign up not working "Something went wrong"

This is just one of the endless gotchas if you try to sign up for Microsoft Developer in the Microsoft Partner centre.

or sometimes this ...

and sometimes this ...

It does not seem to matter what I do... "Something went wrong" ....

Unbelievably frustrating!

Also there is no way of "contacting support" that I can find.

It must be hidden in the depths of the Microsoft web-site rabbit warren.

My apologies on this and for this issue that you are encountering with regards to account creation you can go to https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/support?sta... and then click on Create a Request in Partner Center and from there you can submit a ticket with regards to your issue.

You can see I am blocked from being able to submit a support request here.

All the options I have put the red box around are disabled.

It's wanting me to select a "Workspace" before submitting a support request,

but there aren't any Workspaces on the list.

Is this happening even on a different browser? What I have put in is account sign up and then membership and then membership purchase > billing account/billing profile and once you click on review solutions you can create a ticket from there.

It happens in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge ... I haven't tried other browsers.

I figured if it didn't work in either Chrome or Edge, then it was unlikely to be because of the browser.

I tried taking the route to the page to submit help tickets that you took (suggested I should take), but going by that route still takes me to a page that requires me to select a "workspace" before I am allowed to submit a support ticket, and I don't have any workspaces on my list to choose from.



Possibly the reason I don't have any workspaces is the same reason as the reason that the system is bugging out for me in the first place, but knowing that does not help:

The problem is chicken and egg: I can't submit a ticket to ask them to fix the broken system, because the system for submitting the support ticket is also broken.

My apologies on this and the other way that I can think of is that you cross check this with our neighbor forum from the link below as they are more oriented on with regards to this type queries/issues and there will be IT Pros and Gurus and the likes on the dev side who might have experienced the same and are available that will be able to fulfill your query out there.
