Microsoft Defender says that in my PC are PUA:Win32/Packunwan and PUA:Win32/Softcnapp

Hi,

In the case of PUA:Win32/Packunwan WinDefender lists 'C:\Users\.....\AppData\Local\Temp\nsaB446.tmp\LangDLL.dll' and 'C:\Users\.....\AppData\Local\Temp\nsiB24C.tmp\LangDLL.dll' as affected files, but they are NOT in the reported directory. I always select REMOVE from the options but nothing happens. The notification remains and there is always a yellow triangle with the Defender icon on the taskbar.

I have also been getting a "PUA:Win32/Softcnapp" alert since March. The case is the same: the detected files are missing. But this time the problem was caused by a problematic Viber setup file. Anyway, I still have the notification.

It is also strange that in the same section of the Windows Security Control Panel, App and Browser Control -> "Trusted Security Settings" -> "Anti-Phishing Protection" very often automatically switches to OFF. (This part always appears in Hungarian, even though I set the default language to English and had to translate it from Hungarian back to English).

I've run Malwarebytes, ESET Online Scanner and Microsoft Safety Scanner, but they didn't find any infection.

I also tried to reset my Windows but I got a 'Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version) Install error - 0x80070002' message.

Despite all this, my notebook (Asus Zenbook UX435E) works perfectly.

Regards, Andras
