Microsoft Account Problem

I am getting the following message when I switch my laptop on - "We need to fix your Microsoft account (your password has probably been changed) Select here to fix it in the shared experiences settings."

I am suspicious of this simply because my password has not been changed, I have no problems accessing my laptop, so can I go on ignoring the message - or more pertinently, how do I get rid of it?

Hi Alan,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

Sometimes the message is seen even if the password isn't changed. This is a legitimate message. You should re enter the password again in sync settings by simply clicking on the notification, that should get the rid of it.

Hope that helps.

Thank you yet again. Once I screw up my courage to understand the questions - I hate having to change my password, and that more than once.....Cheers.
