Microphone not working after Windows 10 Update KB4549951

Hi I am struggling with use of my microphone (Realtek) in a Collaborate platform despite enabling all permissions for microphone access in my system and checking browser permissions (in different browsers). When I looked into my Device Manager/Audio input and outputs/Microphone Array events for Realtek it was logged that on 14/4/2020 my microphone was started, configured but then 'not migrated' - Device SWD\MMDEVAPI\{0.0.1.00000000}.{2d0e3e2a-d2ea-4c0b-92ad-986e02d38e45} was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

Can anyone assist with this.

Hi SamJYO, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor.

You could try to check if there's an updated version of the driver for your microphone on your manufacturer's web page. If the latest was already installed, try to check if there's an update on the chipset.

If none of those worked, try to check other solutions in this link

Thanks Paulo for your quick response. I checked the updated versions of the Microphone Array which were quickly affirmed as being up to date. I also checked drivers for the Realtek High Definition Auto and this went through an update. After restarting I still didn't have success with my microphone but after going through System -->Settings-->Sound-->Input-->Device Properties-->Additional device properties I selected the Levels tab and saw that the sound icon was disabled and after unchecking this everything was working. Maybe this toggled off after the update? Glad I found a solution and thank you so much for pointing me in the direction of driver updates
