I'm presently having a problem with my computer's Messenger app. Initially, it stopped sending my messages. After I tried to repair and reset it, the app will now open but nothing will load on the screen. It won't show any of my conversations at all; the whole window remains blank. I've tried numerous other things to fix it--uninstalling and reinstalling the app, troubleshoot, and anything else that was recommended by Microsoft help, but nothing has made a difference.
It's not a huge inconvenience because I can still access my Facebook messages by the app on my phone or directly from Facebook on my browser. It's merely when I try to open Messenger separately from my computer's taskbar or from the Start menu that it fails to load. Regardless, it would be handy to have the separate app working, so I figured it's worth asking for assistance to find a resolution. Is there any way I can refresh Messenger and get it back to working as usual?
