Media Feature Pack not showing on "Optional Features" list

Hello,

I need to download the Media Feature Pack to play Minecraft Java Edition, but it's not on the "Optional Features" list where every tutorial says to go to download it. I'm running Windows 10 Version 1909 OS Build 18363.1256. What do I do?

I already tried those methods, but the Media Feature Pack still doesn't show in the "Optional Features" list. What do I do now?

Do you have Windows 10 N edition? Those old Media Feature Pack's are only for Windows 10 N editions.

Open control panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features, on the left select

'Turn Windows Features on of off'. Check if there is Media Features / Windows Media Player selected.

Update = Replace old bugs with new ones.

No, I have Windows 10 Pro Edition. I'm trying to play Minecraft but it won't get past the Mojang loading screen, and the support says to get the Media Feature Pack, but it's not showing up on the "Advanced Options" list.

Did you also try Option One in Shawn's tutorial here to install Media Feature Pack after Version 1909. Note that you must choose Add a Feature:

Did you check that 'Turn Windows Features on of off' in control panel?

For Windows 10 Home/Pro it should be selected by default, but you never know with Windows.

Those individual Media Feature Packs (offered in separate links in this thread) are only for N and KN editions and as you said you don't have.
