McAfee says there are corrupted files in the windows system files, how to fix?

My McAfee has not been working properly due to corrupted files in the windows system files (McAfee technicians ran a SFC scan on my laptop).

What steps do I need to take to provide you with more information?

Ask McAfee technicians what files they are referring to?

If McAfee has not been working properly, consider yourself lucky. In
my view, it's one of the poorest choices of security software.
I recommend uninstalling McAfee (see
http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331)

For an anti-virus program, I recommend eSet NOD32 or Kaspersky, if you
are willing to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend
one (do not run more than one antivirus program) of the following
three:

Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials

You also need anti-spyware software (even if you run a program like
Microsoft Security Essentials, with anti-spyware capability built into
it). I recommend that you download and
install (freeware) MalwareBytes AntiMalware

I did, the level 2 support technicians could not tell me and insisted that I contact Microsoft directly. :(

* The character preceding more (|more) at the end of the line is the pipe character not an  l (L) or a 1 (one). Press Shift + \ for the pipe character, usually above the enter key. This pages the output one screen at a time.
