Malfunction Touchpad Driver - Windows

I am having a problem with a non-functioning touchpad for my ASUS laptop. I am using Windows 11

I tried to uninstall the driver, restart, and shut down, but it was still inadequate.

I tried to test it by logging in to another Windows user profile on the same laptop; the touchpad works fine. The touchpad started not working once I logged on to the normal user profile I uses

Questions:

1. Does it mean my current user profile is almost corrupted?
2. How do we solve this problem without creating a new profile or reformatting new Windows?

The problem has been resolved. I managed to retrieve the old posting here and go through the steps below:

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/touchpad-stops-working-after-login/828b40b5-c4a0-4ef4-b47a-a85f833c4e11

My problem was solved in the second step while checking the touchpad setting. Somehow the touchpad button is off, once I turn it back on, it goes back to normal
