Logitech wireless keyboard intermittently not responsive to keystrokes...ONLY in WORD documents. NO other apps affected. Regular laptop keyboard works fine all the time.

Updated win10 regularly. reinstalled drivers, receiver is close to keyboard and mouse.

Mouse is fine.

ONLY happens in WORD documents.

No other applications are affected at all, ever.

Have two other machines, one ASUS, other Lenovo...both are fine with external keyboards.

Only this machine, only in Word, only bluetooth keyboard.

Can anyone offer help? (Please).

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING.

BLECCHH!!

Have you tried unpairing the keyboard, restart then paid it again?

Open Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices?
Select the keyboard
Click Remove device

Restart then pair it again.

Also, open Start > Settings > Update & security > Troubleshoot
Scroll down then select Bluetooth
Click Run the troubleshooter

When complete, restart then see if its working better.

If not, press Windows key + X
Click Device Manager
Expand Bluetooth, right click your Bluetooth adapter
Click Update driver

I would also check for updated chipset drivers, try connecting the receiver to another post and reset your BIOS defaults:

Thanks, will be finding out soon as I get some documents to edit and a few days of testing to confirm...has worked for a couple of docs or days without flaw in the past, but when it flops, it really hangs up good.

Fingers crossed.

Andre',

While the procedure you suggested was easy enough to perform and it functioned well and as predicted in its basic operations, it dd NOT resolve the issue. The initial impression I got when first booting up following your suggested fix was one of hopeful expectation, which at first did seem to look as resolved, but shortly thereafter, the problem returned.

As in my original post, it is an intermittent issue. I can usually key for about 3-5 minutes without the problem, and then it will start. Once it starts, I can mess around with entering massive amounts of random keystrokes, deleting them, and then can usually resume normal keying for about 1-2 minutes, and then 'boom', it's back.

Thank you for your attempt to help, but that didn't work for my situation.

Happy Thanksgiving.

David
