Login screen picture locations in WIndows 10

Hi Fellows,

I ususally get a login screen picture which cannot be found in either folder of the followings:

C:\Users\**yourusername**\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_**randomletters**\LocalState\Assets

or

C:\Windows\Web\Screen\

Are there other folders storing login pictures?

Thanks for your help.

Frank

The Assets folder is regularly updated so the image on your screen may not necessarily be in that folder... (btw for info you will not see images directly in that folder - the files need to be converted or opened in a viewer - 'Paint' will do this).

If you want to access some of these (Windows Spotlight) images for saving the simplest method is to download the free 'Dynamic Theme' app from the Windows store. This gives you access (via its viewer) to dozens of the images (plus a smaller number of recent daily Bing images) which can then be copied directly to your pc. Hope this helps... Ric.

btw - if it is just one specific image you want to find can you describe it - or better still screenshot it and upload it here - I may be able to find a link. How to add a screenshot...
