log on issue

I started years ago with a logon @hotmail.com. Then I got an account with a logon @msn.com. Then along comes outlook and I set up @outlook.com. During all this time I used these logins for other applications and websites. Now if I go on msn.com I can access email accounts with the msn.com and the outlook.com logins, however I seem to have lost access to my hotmail.com login. Especially when it comes to Microsoft store where I made purchases early on with the hotmail login. Then I made purchases with the msn login. Now I can access records of my purchases from the msn login, but I cannot access any records with my hotmail login. How do I get my access back to the early purchases I made with the hotmail login?
Hi Robert. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Guardian Moderator here to help you.

What happens when you try to sign into the Hotmail account online?

You can try changing the password:

If you don't have security identifiers to reset password or that doesn't work you can recover your account which takes some time but is here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17875/...

For the future, create an alias email account tied to your MS account, set it primary and you don't have to give up the old account to change addresses. But you can't use an already used MS account. More here:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to choose if I solved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
